Sultry Summer Nights Look

Although I'm not big on makeup rules per se, I do believe that looks change somewhat with the seasons. For nighttime, a sultry eye takes on a whole new meaning when it's midnight and still 90 degrees outside. Somehow the usual blacks and grays can be overkill and not fresh, especially on sun-kissed skin.
I'm a big fan of bronzy hued shadows for summer, and taking them into the night is a snap with the help of black liner and fabulously long false lashes.
A few things to remember for this look;
Keep it monochromatic. Eyes, lips and cheeks should all reflect the same tones. The standout here is the contrast from the black liner.
You don't need to go overboard with color, I used two similar toned shadows with the lighter of the two on the inside part of the eye and the darker on the outside, then carried that color down below the black liner on the lower lash line.
False lashes are your friend. The ones I used look totally obnoxious in the package, but you really can't tell once they're on. They just look like long amazing lashes without wondering what the heat will do to your mascara.
What I used;
Foundation- M.A.C Studio Fix Fluid in NC37
Eye Shadow Primer- M.A.C Paint Pot in Soft Ochre
Bobbi Brown- Long Wear Cream Shadow in Sand Castle
Liner- M.A.C Fluidline in Blacktrack
Liner- Stila in Ebony, a powder to go over the gel liner to set it.
Lighter Shadow- M.A.C in Expensive Pink
Darker Shadow and liner for Lower Lash Line- M.A.C in Coppering
Cheeks- NARS The Multiple in Orgasm (cream stick formula), with Bobbi Brown Spice (powder) on top
Lips- Laura Geller Gloss in Ginger, and Stila Gloss in Inviting
