Island-Chic with M.A.C Liquidlast Liner

In most cases, passing right by a bright teal eyeliner would probably be a safe bet. Of course then you would never get to try this completely fun and easy island-chic look courtesy of M.A.C's Liquidlast Liner in Aqualine. For the most subtle approach to this look, use a dense slanted liner brush to apply the color very closely along your upper lash line. To spice it up a bit, draw a black line first and add the teal directly over the black for a double line effect.

On the lid I used BECCA Cream Eye Color in Quartz and lined under the eye with it too. Keep the lid light and let the liner do the talking.

Cheeks and lips were very berry using CARGO blush in Polynesia, and M.A.C Tendertone Lip Balm in Pucker, a beautifully sheer (and very sold out) shade.

These liners were sold to me as something you could 'literally swim in' and would stay put. After washing my hands all day long, I still had a little blue stain on the back of my hand from where I dabbed it on until I showered. Carrie woke up the next day, washed her face in the shower and still had an almost perfect line on to re-create the look for the entire day. This liner is no joke. An oil based remover will wipe it clean, and it's probably best for someone who has a lot of difficulty with smudging and wants something to last and last. Choose from 16 shades from vibrant to basic.
