Tight-Lining Your Eyes
One of the most perfect techniques for a true day-to-night quick touch up is the tight-line. It's lining the underside of your upper lash line to really bring out your lashes and give contrast to your eyes making them pop. You can use this technique too if you find your eyes sometimes appear dull and you want to punch it up a little bit. I have photos to illustrate below.
Before..
This illustrates where to draw the color. I used a small flat liner brush right on the underside of my upper lash line, you can use a pencil too if you'd like. You can color the fleshy part completely as well, but making sure the roots of the lashes are colored is the most important part.
After tight-lining, the only change from the first photo. Big difference!!
wow, love this tip and you make it look so easy. It really looks like you have to use the correct brush to do this and I have one like you are using. Yeah!!
This is an awesome post, I'm deathly afraid of tightlining, maybe because I wear contact lenses. But, I'm def going to try this. <3 i would love to exchange links <3
You're funny! I added you to blogs. Use a pencil if the brush isn't doing it for u!
Wow! I'm so afraid of lining the inside of my eyes. But this looks amazing!
Focus on just adding color to the lash roots and not the fleshy part of the eye- no worries!
THnk you for this article. It really helped me this morning and my eyes look fabulous. I'm going to do it again this evening for a photoshoot I am having. I'll try to send you the photos.
